# How to move an item from one category to another 🤔

This article will show you how to move an item from one category to another.

---

**User Authority to move or assign an item to another category:**

- Owner ✅
- Manager ✅
- Operator ❌

---

**To move or assign an item to another category, follow the steps below:**

1- Go to **\[Menu\]** and then **\[Items\]**

2- Select the item that you want to edit its category

3- In **\[Info\]** section, scroll down till **\[Category\]**

4- Press on **\[the dropdown sign\]** and select the categories that you want the item to appear under

5- Click on **\[Save\]**

**Note**: A single item can be shown in more than 1 category
