How to Publish or Unpublish an Item 🤔

This guide shows you how to publish an item so it appears on your website, or unpublish it to hide it from customers without deleting it.

User Authority

The following roles can publish or unpublish items:

Owner ✅
Manager ✅
Operator ❌

Important Note for Stores Integrated with Foodics

If your store is integrated with Foodics, any edits to the menu—such as item names, prices, option groups, or modifiers—must be done directly through the Foodics dashboard.

Changes made in Zyda will not apply to your store and must be updated in the main system (Foodics).

Steps to Publish an Item (Show on Website)

1- Go to Menu and select Items.

2- Select the item you want to publish.

3- In the item’s Info section, scroll down to Selected Branches.

4- Click Select All or choose the specific branches where the item should appear.
5- Click Save.

✅ The item will now be visible on your website.

Steps to Unpublish an Item (Hide from Website)

Method 1: From Selected Branches

1- Go to Menu and select Items.

2- Select the item you want to hide.

3- In the Info section, scroll to Selected Branches.

4- Click Clear All, or choose the specific branches where the item should disappear.
5- Click Save.

Method 2: From Item Options

1- Go to Menu and select Items.

2- Select the item you want to unpublish.

3- Click the options icon (⋮) on the right.

4- Choose Delete Item, then select Unpublish.

Unpublishing hides the item from customers while keeping it in your menu for future use.
