How to Refund an Order 🤔
This allows you to return/refund the amount the customer paid online to your store.
User Authority
Only the following roles can issue a refund:

Owner ✅
-
Manager ✅
-
Operator ❌
Steps to Refund an Order
1- Go to Orders.
2- Open the order you want to cancel.
Note: The Refund Order button will only appear if the order is canceled.

3- Scroll down and click on Refund Order.
4- Choose one of the refund options:
Wallet Refund

The amount is refunded instantly to the customer’s Orderfast Wallet.

The customer can use it for future orders on your website.
Credit Card Refund

The amount is refunded to the original payment card.

It may take 3 -15 working days to appear, depending on bank procedures.
Important Notes

The wallet balance is virtual and can only be used on your website.

When choosing a Wallet Refund, you can add a compensation percentage as a bonus.

Example:
If the order amount is 10 KWD and you add 50% compensation:

10 KWD (refund) -
5 KWD (bonus)

Total: 15 KWD added to the wallet
5- Click Proceed Refund, then Refund.
Partial Refunds 🤔

Partial refunds cannot be processed from the Zyda dashboard.

You must process them directly from the payment gateway dashboard.

If your store is integrated with MyFatoorah, contact Zyda Support for assistance.
Mixed Payment Refunds (Credit Card & Wallet)
If an order was paid using both Credit Card and Wallet:

The wallet amount will be refunded back to the customer’s wallet.

The credit card amount will be refunded back to the original card.
If the order was paid fully using the wallet:

The refund will be processed only to the wallet.
Refund Status
After refunding, open the same order and scroll to Refund Info.
Possible statuses:
-
⏳ Pending – Refund is processing
-
✅ Refunded – Amount received by the customer

❌ Failed – Refund did not go through

If the refund fails:
-
The failure reason will be shown.

You can click Retry Refund to try again.
