This guide shows you how to set a custom preparation time for a specific item or variant. Useful when it needs more time than your store’s default preparation time.

The following roles can customize preparation time:

Manager ✅

Operator ❌
Important Note for Stores Integrated with Foodics
If your store is integrated with Foodics, any edits to the menu—such as item names, prices, option groups, or modifiers—must be done directly through the Foodics dashboard.
Changes made in Zyda will not apply to your store and must be updated in the main system (Foodics).
Steps to Customize Preparation Time
1- Go to Menu and select Items.
2- Select the item you want to edit.
3- In the Modifiers section, scroll to Preparation Time.

Turn the toggle On.

Disable Set to default.

Enter the desired preparation time.
4- Click Save.
You can also set a different preparation time for each variant.
and each variant’s preparation time will be shown accordingly on the website.
