Turn on pickup and curbside at your branches

For: Owners, Operations Where: Serve > Pickup Available: Web dashboard · All countries Some customers want to order ahead and collect the order themselves. Pickup lets them collect it in the branch. Curbside lets them stay in the car while your team brings the order out. You turn both on per branch, on one screen. How it works Each branch has one Service setting: | Service | What customers can choose | |---|---| | Pickup only | Collect the order in the branch. | | Curbside only | Wait in the car. Your team brings the order to the car. | | Both | Either one, at checkout. | | Off | No pickup at this branch. | Each change saves as soon as you make it. When you turn on pickup or curbside, the branch also shows to customers as a place they can visit. Customers see a Ready time at checkout. This is how long they are told to wait. If you leave it empty, the branch uses your store's preparation time. Pickup and curbside orders come into Manage > Orders like any other order. Curbside orders are pickup orders that also carry the customer's car. The Branches card on the Pickup page: each branch's service, ready time and phone Turn on pickup or curbside 1. Go to Serve > Pickup. 2. If no branch offers pickup yet, select Turn on pickup. The branch list opens on the side. 3. Find the branch. Under Service, choose Pickup only, Curbside only or Both. 4. Under Ready time, type the minutes customers wait, or leave it empty to use your store's preparation time. 5. Under Branch phone, type the number customers call about their order. You do not need to select Save. Each field saves when you leave it. If a branch shows Needs phone, add its Branch phone. See how pickup is doing When a branch offers pickup, the page shows three numbers. They cover the last 30 full days, compared with the 30 days before: - Pickup orders, and their share of all your orders. - Pickup sales. - Average order. Curbside orders count as pickup orders here. The numbers do not include today. Rules and limits - One setting controls pickup and curbside together. You cannot turn on curbside without choosing it in Service. - Ready time takes whole minutes above 0. - Opening hours, holidays and the last order time come from the branch. Change them in Setup > Branches. - If a save fails, you see "Couldn't save. Try again." and the field goes back to what it was. Common questions Why does a branch show "Needs phone"? The branch offers pickup or curbside but has no Branch phone. Customers use this number to call about their order. Add it in the table. Do pickup or curbside cost extra? No. Pickup and curbside are part of your plan. Where do I change the branch's opening hours? In Setup > Branches. Open the branch and change Opening hours. Serve customers in their car with curbside

For: Owners, Operations Where: Serve > Curbside Available: Web dashboard · All countries Some customers cannot park, or do not want to leave the car. With curbside, they order ahead, drive to your branch and tap one button when they arrive. Your team then brings the order out to their car. How it works 1. At checkout, the customer chooses Car Pickup and adds their car. They give its colour and make, and can add its type and plate. 2. When they arrive, they open their order page and tap I'm here. 3. Your team gets an alert on the Orders page. The order shows Arrived with a timer, and moves to the top of the list. 4. Someone on your team selects On my way on the order, then takes the order to the car. Curbside orders are pickup orders. They follow the same steps on the Orders page: Accept Order, Ready for pickup, Fulfill Order. How your team sees and answers arrivals is in Find and follow orders on the Orders page and Hear new orders and arrivals. What the customer sees The order page shows a large I'm here button, with the car they gave at checkout under it. The button shows until the order is fulfilled or cancelled, so the customer can tap it before you accept the order. The customer's order page with the I'm here button and their car After the tap, the customer sees: | Moment | What the customer sees | |---|---| | Right after the tap | "We've told the team", with a timer that counts how long they wait. | | After 90 seconds | Still waiting? Notify again, to alert your team again. | | Your team selects On my way | "On its way out!" and "The team is bringing your order to the curb." | The customer must be signed in to send the alert. If they are not, they see Sign in to notify the branch. The Curbside page Go to Serve > Curbside. If no branch offers curbside, the page explains curbside and shows a sample of the customer's phone. Select Turn on curbside to open the branch list, then choose Curbside only or Both for a branch. When a branch offers curbside, the page shows: - Curbside share of pickup: how many pickup orders in the last 30 days chose curbside. It counts every order placed, cancelled ones too. - How curbside works: the three steps above. - Set up: the branches that offer curbside, with Edit in Pickup, and Signage with Download. - Ready time by branch: each curbside branch's ready time and phone. The Curbside page: how curbside works and its set-up rows You change the branches, ready time and phone on the Pickup page. The Curbside page only shows them. Rules and limits - The car cannot be changed after the order is placed. Your team sees the car the customer gave at checkout. - The customer can send the alert again only 90 seconds after the last one. - Add a Branch phone for every curbside branch. If the alert fails, the customer can call the branch from the order page. Common questions Can customers write where they parked? No. The order carries the car's colour, make, and type and plate if the customer added them. Do I need to print a sign? No, but a sign at your parking spots tells customers where to wait. Print QR signs for pickup and curbside

For: Owners, Operations Where: Serve > Curbside > Signage > Download Available: Web dashboard · All countries A customer who sees your sign can scan it and start a pickup or curbside order at that branch. Each branch gets its own signs, QR codes and links, made in your store's colours. How it works Zyda makes one sign for each branch and each way of collecting: - A Pickup sign for each branch that offers pickup. - A Curbside sign for each branch that offers curbside. Each sign has its own link. A customer scans the QR code or opens the link. Your store then opens in pickup or curbside mode, with that branch already chosen. You design the signs once, and the design applies to every sign on the page. Sign design: the template, colours and sign language apply to every sign Open the signs 1. Go to Serve > Curbside. 2. Under Set up, next to Signage, select Download. The Signage row shows once a branch offers curbside. The page then has signs for every branch that offers pickup or curbside. If no branch offers curbside, the dashboard has no link to this page. The Pickup page has no link to it. Design the signs In Sign design: 1. Under Template, choose the size: | Template | Size | |---|---| | A4 Poster | 210 × 297 mm | | Table tent | 150 × 105 mm | | Window cling | 125 × 150 mm | | Parking marker | 200 × 200 mm | 2. Under Style, choose a colour set, such as Classic or Brand. The sets come from your store's colours. To pick your own, select Background or Text. 3. Under Headline font, choose Serif or Sans. This shows only if your store has its own fonts. 4. Under Sign language, choose English or عربى. Colours apply to both languages. You write the text for each language. 5. Under Pickup message and Curbside message, choose a Message to start from. Then change the Headline and Subtext if you want. The signs under the form change as you type. Print or download | You want to | Do this | |---|---| | Print every sign | Select Print sheet. A new window opens with the print dialog. | | Download every QR code | Select Download all. You get one PNG file for each sign. | | Download one QR code | On the sign, select Download QR. | | Share one link | On the sign, select Copy link. | Rules and limits - The design is not saved. If you leave the page, it goes back to the default design. Print or download before you leave. - If the print window does not open, allow pop-ups for the dashboard and try again. - The template, colours and text do not change the links. Sign language does: an Arabic sign opens your store in Arabic. A printed sign keeps working. Common questions Can I put the link in my Instagram bio? Yes. Select Copy link on the sign and paste it anywhere. The link opens your store in pickup or curbside mode at that branch. What is the difference from my store's QR code? Your store's QR code opens your store's home page. These signs open pickup or curbside at one branch. For the store's code, read Make a QR code for your store. Turn on dine-in and choose its branches

For: Owners, Operations Where: Serve > Dine-in > Settings Available: Web dashboard · All countries Dine-in lets guests scan a QR code on their table, order from their phone and pay there. You do not need a waiter to take the order or bring a card machine. Every store can use it. You turn it on yourself and choose the branches. How it works Dine-in has two switches: - The store switch, Dine-in (QR table ordering). It turns dine-in on for your store, so you can add tables and print their QR codes. - A Table ordering switch for each branch. Guests can order only at branches where it is on. When a branch has its tables but Table ordering is off, guests who scan see your menu but cannot order. Table orders follow your pickup rules at that branch. Guests can order only while the branch is open, and they pay online with the methods the branch takes for pickup. Table ordering in Settings: switch on each branch that takes table orders Turn on dine-in 1. Go to Serve > Dine-in. The Get started page opens. 2. Select Start 30-day free trial. If your store already had its trial, the button is Turn on dine-in. 3. The Settings page opens. Under Table ordering, switch on each branch that takes table orders. 4. Turn on Tips if guests can add a tip when they pay. 5. Under Session length (minutes), type how long a quiet table stays open. The default is 120. 6. Select Save. You see "Dine-in settings saved". If this is your first branch, your free trial starts now. Next, add your tables. Read Add tables and print their QR codes. The free trial and the price Every store gets one free trial of 30 days, once. You see Start 30-day free trial on the Get started page until your store starts it. - The 30 days start when you switch on Table ordering for your first branch. - Nothing is charged when the trial ends. - The Settings page and the Plan page show how many days are left. - Zyda sends you an email 7 days before the trial ends, and another on the day it ends. When the trial ends and you have not added Dine-in, dine-in pauses: - Guests cannot open a new table. Tables that are already open can still order and pay until they close. - You cannot switch on a branch. - The Dine-in tab opens a page that says "Your free trial ended". To keep dine-in on, select Add Dine-in. It opens Finance > Plan, where you add Dine-in to your plan. Dine-in is paid with your plan, for the same period. The price includes your first dine-in branch. Each extra dine-in branch has its own price: | Your plan is paid | Kuwait: Dine-in | Kuwait: each extra branch | Egypt: Dine-in | Egypt: each extra branch | |---|---|---|---|---| | Every 6 months | 150 KWD | 30 KWD | 25,000 EGP | 5,000 EGP | | Every year | 250 KWD | 50 KWD | 42,500 EGP | 7,500 EGP | | Every 2 years | 450 KWD | 90 KWD | 75,000 EGP | 15,000 EGP | - Egypt prices are before 14% VAT. Other countries see their price on the Get started page and the Plan page. - Other plans, such as a plan paid every 3 months, have no Dine-in price. The page says "Contact us for the price", and Contact Us shows instead of Add Dine-in. - After you add Dine-in, an extra branch you switch on is charged at once, for the rest of your plan's period. A branch you switch off stops costing at your next renewal. - Dine-in covers up to 10 branches. For 11 or more, contact us. - If you remove Dine-in on the Plan page, dine-in stops at once. Guests cannot open a new table. - Zyda takes no commission on table payments. Change dine-in settings | Setting | What it does | |---|---| | Dine-in (QR table ordering) | Turns dine-in on or off for the store. When it is off, Live tables and Tables are hidden. | | Tips | Guests can add a tip when they pay. | | Session length (minutes) | A table closes by itself after this many minutes with no activity. A table that still owes money stays open. | | Table ordering | Turns guest ordering on or off for one branch. | If you leave the page with changes you did not save, the dashboard asks first. Rules and limits - Session length (minutes) takes whole minutes from 1 to 1440. A value under 15 works as 15. - Guests can order only during the branch's opening hours. On holidays and after the last order time, they see the menu only. - When the branch is busy, a guest's order is refused when they send it. - Guests pay online through Tap or MyFatoorah only. Online payment must be on for your store. Guests can always pay your staff at the counter. Common questions Why can't some of my team see Dine-in? The Dine-in tab needs Pickup and curbside in the person's role. The Owner and Operations roles have it. Branch staff, Finance and Marketing do not, so they do not see Live tables, waiter calls or the table bill. Branch staff can still accept a table's first round and mark rounds served on the Orders page. To let waiters use Live tables, give their role Pickup and curbside in Setup > Team > Roles. A branch did not switch on. Why? Read the message at the top of Settings. Either the free trial ended and you have not added Dine-in, or you already have 10 dine-in branches. For the first, select Add Dine-in. For the second, select Contact Us. How do I move dine-in from one branch to another? Switch off the old branch and switch on the new one, then select Save. Zyda saves the branch you switched off first. Add tables and print their QR codes

For: Owners, Operations Where: Serve > Dine-in > Tables Available: Web dashboard · All countries Each table needs its own QR code, so Zyda knows where the guest sits. You add your tables by name, one branch at a time, and print a code for each one. How it works The Tables page lists the tables of one branch. Each table has: - Its name, such as Table 5. Your team and your guests see it. - Free or In use. A table is in use while guests have it open. - Its QR code, and buttons to print it, download it, edit the table, replace the code and delete the table. The Tables tab shows only while dine-in is on. Read Turn on dine-in and choose its branches. The Tables page: each table with its QR code and actions Add a table 1. Go to Serve > Dine-in > Tables. 2. Choose the branch at the top. 3. Select Add table. 4. Type the Name, for example Table 5. 5. Select Add table. You see "Table added". Repeat for each table. Print the QR codes - To print every table of the branch, select Print QR codes. You get one card per table, with its name and "Scan to order and pay". - To print one table, select Print on its row. - To save one code as a picture, select Download on its row. Put each code on its own table. Replace a QR code Replace a code when a printed code was copied or taken from the table. 1. On the table's row, select Replace QR code. 2. Select Replace QR code again to confirm. 3. Print the new code and put it on the table. The old printed code stops working at once. Link a table to your POS If your store sends orders to Foodics, link each table to its table in Foodics. 1. On the table's row, select Edit table. 2. Under POS table ID, type the table's ID from Foodics. 3. Select Save. When the table is paid in full, it closes. Foodics then gets one paid dine-in order on that table, with all its rounds, payments and tips. Rounds do not go to Foodics one by one. Edit table, with the POS table ID Delete a table 1. On the table's row, select Delete table. 2. Select Delete table again to confirm. Its QR code stops working. Past orders are kept. Rules and limits - Each table's name must be different from every other table in the same branch. Capital letters and spaces at the ends do not count. - You cannot delete a table that is In use. Wait until the table closes, or close it from Live tables. - If Table ordering is off at the branch, the page says so. Guests who scan see the menu but cannot order. - A downloaded code is named after the branch and the table, for example salmiya-table-5-qr. Common questions Can I use one QR code for the whole restaurant? No. Each table has its own code, so the order and the bill belong to that table. A guest scanned the wrong table. What now? The guest scans the code on the right table. If their phone already has items from another table, it asks before it moves. Your team can also move a whole table from Live tables with Move table. How guests order and pay at the table

For: Owners, Operations Where: The guest's phone, after scanning a table's QR code Available: Web dashboard · All countries Your team answers fewer questions when you know what guests see. Guests scan the code on their table, order together from their own phones and pay from there. They do not install an app. Everything happens on your store's website, in your store's colours. How it works 1. A guest scans the table's QR code. Your store opens on their phone at that table. 2. The guest types their name to join the table. Everyone at the table joins the same way. 3. Each guest adds items from your menu. All the items go into one shared order for the table. 4. A guest selects Send to kitchen. The items go to your kitchen as one round. 5. Guests can order more rounds while they eat. 6. Each guest opens the bill and pays their part, or the whole bill, from their phone. The guest's table page: the table's name, Order and View bill Order together The table page shows Your table with the table's name, then two buttons: - Order opens your menu. Guests add items as they do for any order. - View bill opens the table's bill. Under Table order, every guest sees every item, who added it and its price. A guest can change or remove only the items they added. When someone else adds an item, the order updates on every phone. The shared table order: each item, who added it and its price Send to the kitchen 1. A guest selects Send to kitchen. 2. The first time, the phone asks for Your phone number. Your restaurant needs it before the first round goes to the kitchen. The guest uses it to pay too. 3. The guest sees "Sent to the kitchen." The first round of each table waits for your team. The guests see "Waiting for staff to confirm your first order", and they cannot send another round until your team accepts it. Later rounds go to the kitchen at once. Each round shows its state: Waiting for staff, Preparing, Ready, Served or Cancelled. Call a waiter Under the order, guests have two buttons: - Call a waiter: your team sees "Asked for a waiter". - Ask for the bill: your team sees "Asked for the bill". The guest sees "A waiter is on the way." or "The staff will bring your bill." Each guest can call once every 2 minutes. The phone shows how long until they can call again. Pay at the table 1. The guest selects View bill. The bill shows each round, the total, what was paid and Left to pay. 2. The guest selects Pay or split. A guest alone at the table sees Pay with the amount. 3. The guest chooses how to pay: - Pay the rest: everything that is left. - Split equally: the guest sets how many people share the bill, from 2 to 20, and how many shares they pay for. - Pay a custom amount: any amount up to what is left. 4. If tips are on, the guest chooses a Tip: No tip, 5%, 10%, 15% or Other. 5. The guest types their Phone number and chooses how to pay, such as KNET, card or Apple Pay. 6. The guest selects Pay with the amount. The guest's pay sheet with Pay the rest, Split equally and Pay a custom amount The bill shows who is paying now, so the table does not pay twice. Two guests may pay at the same time, so the table pays too much. The extra amount then goes back to the card by itself. When the table is paid in full, the table closes by itself. Each guest sees a receipt of their own payments, and can rate the meal. When guests can only see the menu Guests who scan see the menu, but cannot order, when: - Table ordering is off at the branch. - The branch is closed now, or it is a holiday, or it is after the last order time. - Your free trial ended and you have not added Dine-in. Guests cannot open a new table. - The table session ended because nobody used it for the session length. The guest scans the code again to start a new one. Rules and limits - Guests must give a name to join, and a phone number to send the first round and to pay. - Guests pay online with the methods your branch takes for pickup orders, through Tap or MyFatoorah. They can also pay your staff at the counter. - Guests earn loyalty points on what they pay, if your points program applies to all orders. Tips do not earn points. Points come after the table is paid in full. Dine-in does not earn cashback. - Zyda takes no commission on table payments. Your gateway's fee applies. If Autopilot is on, the marketing processing fee can apply once per table, as it does for other orders. Common questions Can each guest pay for only the items they ordered? No. Guests can pay the rest, an equal share or a custom amount. To pay for their own items, a guest types that amount with Pay a custom amount. What if a guest leaves without paying? Live tables shows Possible walkout when money is still owed and nobody used the table for the session length. Read Take payments, refund and close a table. Run your tables from Live tables

For: Owners, Operations Where: Serve > Dine-in > Live tables Available: Web dashboard · All countries During service, you need to know which table called, what to serve and who still owes money. Live tables shows every table of a branch on one screen, and updates as guests order and pay. Branch staff do not see Live tables. Read "Who can use Live tables" below before your first service. How it works Each table has a card. The big number is the amount Left to pay. The badge says what the table is doing: | Badge | Meaning | |---|---| | Free | Nobody is at the table. | | Ordering | Guests joined but sent nothing yet. | | To accept | The first round waits for your team. | | Eating | Rounds were sent and nothing is paid yet. | | Part paid | Some of the bill is paid. | | Paid | The bill is paid in full. | More badges show what needs you now: - New round: a round arrived in the last minute. - The number of items to serve. - Waiter called, Possible walkout or Overpaid. The card also shows the guests' initials, and how many guests, rounds and minutes the table has. Live tables: a waiter call above the table cards Each round is also an order on the Orders page, marked Dine-in with the table's name. Open the board 1. Go to Serve > Dine-in. Live tables opens. 2. Choose the branch at the top. The board shows one branch at a time. The board updates by itself. If the live connection drops, you see "Updates every 15 seconds". Accept a table's first round The first round of every new table waits for your team, even if your store accepts orders automatically. This lets you check that the guests really sit at the table. 1. On the table's card, select Open and the table's name, for example Open Table 1. 2. Check that the guests are at the table. 3. Select Accept first round. You see "First round accepted". The round goes to the kitchen. Later rounds from this table go to the kitchen at once. You can also accept it on the Orders page: the round shows "Waiting to accept", and Accept Order accepts it. To refuse the first round, cancel its order on the Orders page. The guests can then send a new round, and it waits for you again. Answer a waiter call When a guest selects Call a waiter or Ask for the bill, the call shows under Waiter calls, above the tables. It says the table, what the guest asked for and how many minutes ago. 1. Select Acknowledge on the call. You see "Call acknowledged", and the call leaves the list. 2. Go to the table. Mark items served 1. Open the table. 2. Under To serve, the newest round is first. Do one of these: - Select Mark all served on a round. - Tick single items, then select the button that counts them, for example Mark 2 served. Served items move to Served at the end of the list. Add items for the table A guest may order from your staff instead of the phone. You can add the items to the table's bill. 1. Open the table. 2. Under Table actions, select Add items. Your menu opens in the drawer. 3. Add the items. Under This round, check the items and the Subtotal. 4. Select Send to kitchen. The items go to the kitchen as a round of this table. The guests pay for them with the rest of the bill. If the table's first round was still waiting, sending your items accepts it too. Who can use Live tables Serve > Dine-in shows only to people whose role has Pickup and curbside. The Owner and Operations roles have it. Branch staff, Finance and Marketing do not have it. They do not see Live tables, so they do not see waiter calls, the bill or the payments. On the Orders page, Branch staff can still accept a table's first round and mark rounds served. If your waiters use the Branch staff role, give them Live tables this way: 1. Go to Setup > Team > Roles. 2. Open the Branch staff template and select Copy and edit. Name the new role, for example Waiter. 3. Give the new role Pickup and curbside. Keep Orders at Edit. 4. Select Save role. 5. Give your waiters the new role. Pickup and curbside also opens the Pickup, Curbside and Dine-in settings to that role. Rules and limits - Every action on a table, such as accepting a round, answering a call or marking items served, needs permission to edit orders at that branch. - You can add items only after a guest sent a round or gave a phone number, so the round has a customer. - A table nobody uses for the session length closes by itself, unless it still owes money. Then it shows Possible walkout. - Waiter calls show only on Live tables. Common questions Where do I see the bill and the payments? Open the table. The drawer shows the Bill and the Payments. To take money or close the table, read Take payments, refund and close a table. Can I change a dine-in round from the Orders page? Only its step.
