Understand your fees and payout
For: Owners, Finance
Where: Finance > Fees & payout
Available: Web dashboard · All countries
Your customers paid online, but less money reached your bank. Fees & payout shows each fee, how you paid it, and how the
money goes from customer payments to your payout.
How it works
Go to Finance > Fees & payout. Three cards sit at the top:
| Card | What it shows | |---|---| | Captured | The online payments customers made in the period. The line under it
gives the number of payments. | | Total | Every fee and commission in the period, added together. The line under it says
how much was deducted before payout. Select Details to split it into Before payout, Monthly invoice and Delivery
processing fee. | | Net payout or Expected payout | What is left for your bank account after refunds and fees. |
You see Net payout if your payment gateway is MyFatoorah. With any other gateway, you see Expected payout. It is an
estimate, because your bank deposits do not show here.
Fees and payout: captured payments, total fees and the payout
From payments to payout
Under the cards, the table From payments to payout shows the math line by line:
1. Captured: what customers paid online.
2. Minus Payments not in this payout yet: payments whose fee the gateway has not reported yet. They count in a later
payout.
3. Minus Refunds: money sent back to customers' cards and wallets in the period.
4. Minus each fee that is deducted before payout.
5. Equals your Net payout or Expected payout.
Refunds to a customer's wallet are in the Refunds line, but they do not lower your bank payout. When the lines do not
add up to the payout exactly, for example because of wallet refunds, a Difference line shows the gap.
The fees
| Fee | What it is for | |---|---| | Payment processing fee | The fee on each online payment. | | Payment gateway fee |
The gateway's own part of the card fee. When your gateway reports it, it shows next to the payment processing fee, and
the payment processing fee is then Zyda's part. | | Service fee | A fee your customers pay on each order, if Zyda set
one for your store. | | Marketing processing fee | A fee on each of a new customer's first 3 orders, while Autopilot is
on. See Turn on Autopilot. | | Delivery processing fee | Zyda's fee on each order a delivery network partner delivers
for you. It is a cost to your store. The delivery fees customers pay you are sales, and they are not in this total. | |
Order commission fee | The commission in your Zyda agreement. Your agreement says which orders it covers. | | Ring
commission fee | The commission for Zyda's Ring team, if your store uses it. Your agreement says which orders it covers.
|
You see only the fees your store has.
How each fee is paid
The Fees by type table shows a Collection status for each fee:
| Collection status | Meaning | |---|---| | Deducted before payout | Taken from the online payment before the money
reaches you. The payment processing fee is always paid this way. | | Deducted from order | Taken from the order amount.
| | On monthly invoice | Billed on your monthly usage invoice. The invoice number shows next to it. | | Next monthly
invoice | Not billed yet. | | Refunded | The fee was given back. | | Cancelled | The fee was not charged. |
The order commission fee and the Ring commission fee are billed on your monthly usage invoice. See Pay your Zyda
invoices.
The delivery processing fee is not in the payout on this page, and it is not on your monthly invoice. Zyda takes it from
your payment gateway when a delivery network partner delivers the order:
- With MyFatoorah, it comes out of your MyFatoorah balance, for cash orders too.
- With another gateway, it comes out of the order's online payment.
So the money that reaches your bank can be lower than the payout on this page by that amount. See Use the delivery
network.
Choose the period and branch
1. Select the period: This month, Last month, Last 30 days or Custom range.
2. For Custom range, choose the first and last day, then select Apply. You can choose up to 93 days.
3. Choose a branch, or All permitted branches.
A business day runs from 05:00 to 05:00. Refunds count on the day they happen.

Common questions
Why do I see Expected payout and not Net payout?
Net payout shows for stores that take online payments with MyFatoorah. With other gateways, the page estimates the
payout. Check your bank statement for the real deposit.
A refund is in the list, but my payout did not go down. Why?
The refund went to the customer's wallet, not to their card. Wallet refunds do not lower your bank payout. To refund an
order, see Refund an order.
Why are fees on the page for a cash order?
Some fees are on every order, not only on online payments. For example, if your store pays an order commission fee, it
is on cash orders too. It is billed on your monthly invoice.
How is the commission base worked out?
It is the order total after discounts, without the service fee, VAT and the delivery fee.
